Got some good news and some bad news lately, on the good side, my illustration at the Heinz History Center sold! It's going to a really nice couple who are big fans of the Pennsylvania Railroad and railroading in general, they are hardcore rail fans, it's refreshing to meet people like this!
On the down side, my son Shane was laid of the other day. He's talented, he wants to work, he want to make a difference with his art, but things aren't real good right now. Let's face it our economy is in the crapper thanks to 8 years bad leadership at the top. If we don't all wise up and do the right thing in November, we are in for more of the same and that's not good enough. Hopefully new blood in the White House will turn things around, but who ever wins will have their work cut out for them to right this ship. January 1, 2009 can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
That's it for now... Reporting live from deep in the heart of Ketchup Country.
