Thanks! I can usually turn one of these around pretty quick, I have a process, where I start with a hand drawn sketch that I shoot a digital photo of, then in Photoshop I trace all the paths, from there I copy and paste the paths into Illustrator and I fill and stroke the basic design, after I have my colors picked, I copy the basic design and set it aside just in case I screw up and have to go back to the original. Anyway I take the basic design and in the Pathfinder pallet, I select "Divide" and from there work out the interlace. Once I have the design interlaces, it's a matter of rotating and copying the design. I don't know if you have ever seen this but it simplifies the process a bit: [link] -YD
