In 1951, Leo Fender revolutionized modern music with the introduction of Fender Broadcaster®, a prototype solid body guitar that would eventually become the legendary Fender Telecaster®. The The Telecaster was the world's first solid body electric Spanish style guitar to go into commercial production. Music would never be the same! The Telecaster was soon followed by the revolutionary Precision Bass® guitar and the Fender Stratocaster® in 1954. The Strat as it came to be known to players is the perfect electric, often copied, never duplicated. Rock & Roll would not be Rock & Roll without the Strat.
Thanks man! I always wanted to play guitar, but all I can do is draw them. Being the son of a drummer, I was influenced in that direction and just wasn't any good at it. Thank God I had my art to fall back on .
I grew up in the 60's and 70's when there was no shortage of great guitarists. Some of my personal favorites were the late Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Robin Trower, Roy Buchan and of course Jimi Hendrix. -YD

Great work, drawing this instrument may be as difficult as playing on it
You cannot imagine how much Fender guitars remind me of a dear friend, musician and singer,
we called him Pierrot, he was so talented ... the Strat was his favorite,
you can see him here with another one
He killed himself because of a mixed love/professionnal affair,
ruined his family as well (left 2 children and wife) ...
Artists are so fragile ...
Thanks! I put a good bit of time into this one. Illustrator is the only vector drawing program I've ever used. I've been using it illustrator for about 8 years. I had a good teacher. -YD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
