Description
This past June, after attending the press conference for the 2007 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix at the John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, I took a few minutes to photograph a few of the gems that are displayed on the museum's first floor. Along with the first Bantam Jeep, a vintage fire truck, a Conestoga Wagon and a PCC Trolley was a beautiful 1936 Ford built with Allegheny Ludlum Stainless Steel! This car is one of six built and one of four that are still in use. I can't begin to tell you how beautiful this car is. This is what a car should be! Over the years Ford and Allegheny Ludlum Steel collaborated to build other stainless Steel cars that included two 1960 Thunderbirds and a 1967 Lincoln convertable!
