Reaper 1

Reaper 1 is inspired by Brigadier General Chris Miller, Commander of the 509th Bomb Wing. I've been kicking around this concept since our visit to Whiteman Air Force Base back in September. During the reactivation ceremonies for the 13th Bomb Squadron, General Miller was delayed due to weather. Arriving late, he landed out on the runway and taxied up to the hangar where the reactivation ceremony was still taking place in a sleek little jet black T-38 Talon! What an entrance!

The Northrop T-38 Talon is the primary jet trainer for the United States Air Force. First flown in 1959, this impressive little jet has had an amazingly long and versatile career. Continuous upgrades and improvements has allowed the Talon to continue to be a viable jet trainer for 45 years!
