Oscar, the Devil's Own Grim Reaper wants you! This is a recruitment poster for the 13th Bomb Squadron Association. The 13th Aero Squadron was formed in 1917 and served in WWI. Throughout the 20's and 30's the 13th became an Attack Squadron and served as such in WWII. When the Korean War broke out the 13th was there. Again during the Vietnam War the 13th was called on. The 13th Bomb Squadron Association was founded in 1984 by mostly Korean War Veterans of the 13th Bomb Squadron. WWII Vets of the 13th have joined the association and so have many Vietnam Vets as well as 13th Veterans who served with the squadron between the wars. This poster is directed at the latest generation of 13th Bomb Squadron Vet who served with the squadron at Dyess AFB Texas and those at Whitman AFB Missouri, but if you are surfing the web and found this page and you are a veteran of the 13th or know a veteran of the 13th, Oscar wants you! If you served with the 13th during any part of it's long history you should be a part of the 13th Bomb Squadron Association. Show your Reaper Pride and join up!
