Nikon EM 50mm

This is my latest film camera acquisition, a 35mm SLR Nikon EM with a 50mm E Series lens. Although I already have an EM that I got from my uncle, I couldn't pass this one up for the price. The EM wasn't a popular camera and is much lighter and smaller than most of the other cameras made by Nikon, it's still a sweet little camera. I was originally marketed towards women with the hope of getting more women interested in photography. I don't know if it worked as far as this camera, but today, you are just as likely to see women totting cameras and taking photos as men. Photography is something that can be enjoyed by everyone.
