Looking more like a scene from WWII Dresden rather than New Kensington, Pennsylvania, yesterday I went down to New Kensington to photograph a Ghost Ad that was revealed during the demolition of the old Montgomery Wards department store. The crew working the site allowed me on site and let me take some photos. Through all the twisted steel and concrete, you can make out some of the Gold Medal Flour ad from 1903!
This is the fourth old ad to be exposed by demolition in New Kensington. While I hate to some of these old buildings demolished, it is interesting to see these old ads. Here are a couple others: [link] and [link] -YD
