Divco in Decay

At one time in America the Divco delivery truck was part of the fabric of our everyday lives. Produced from 1926 to 1986, they were literally everywhere delivering everything. The dairy industry was a big user of Divcos for home delivery. Every home had a milk box and everyday the Milkman would deliver fresh milk and dairy products right to your door. It was a simpler time long before convenience stores and self serves. This Divco looks to have belonged to Menzie Dairy. It was sitting at an old gas station along Russelton Road.
