I heard the owner of this building was trying to sell it on Ebay. I don't know what store this building originally was, but more recently it was a bar with savory reputation.

That cutout on the top floor caught me off guard for a sec! The building has some cool details. Great brickwork and decoration. And it looks like some of an old sign is bleeding through above the awning too

I would imagine that this was a bustling area at one time, the Railroad station was across the street. I shot this from the parking lot across the tracks where the passenger station was.

New Kensington has a history of nuisance bars, I don't know if this one was as bad as some, but anytime you mix assholes with alcohol, anything can happen.

It is depressing when I walk the streets of this town and just see more of the same.
