Another one for our friend Ron [link] over at the Silverdale VFD.

The Seagrave Motor Fire Apparatus Company of Columbus, Ohio is the oldest fire engine manufacturer still building fire engines today.

This fire engine belonged to the Silverdale Volunteer Fire Department, Silverdale, PA. [link]
This is the photo, used by permission that the illustration was based on: [link]

I want to dedicate this illustration to all the brave volunteer fire fighters who everyday risk their lives to protecting our families, our homes and our communities.

Adobe Illustrator CS2, Apple G5 Power Mac, OSX Tiger.

Another great illustration! Love the old school firetrucks! And I thought driving an old watertruck from the fifties was fun...this is even better!

Ah yes the ole Seagrave. My dad used to talk about the two best firetrucks there ever was. American La France and Seagrave. Nicely done.
